No mean feat by Tonbridge!
A powerful spell of second-half pressure helped earn Tonbridge a deserved 17 - 10 victory over 2015 champions Bedford School in the final of the NatWest Champions Trophy, a competition for the top rugby schools in the country


Girls' 'Pitch Up and Play'!

November 2015 saw our inaugural event for girls - run by John Fitzpatrick at Dartford Grammar School. It involved 30 girls from 3 schools.

30th November 2016 saw the success of that translated into increased interest:
Over 110 girls took part and the 3 schools grew to 8: Dartford Grammar School, Folkestone Academy, Simon Langton Grammar School, Spires Academy, St Dunstan's College, St Olave's Grammar School, The Judd School, Tonbridge Grammar School
History made!
 
On the 14th December, Dartford Grammar School went on to host a four-way festival involving Dartford Grammar School, St Olave’s Grammar School, Tonbridge Grammar School and Simon Langton Grammar School.
 
It provided a platform for the first game of 15 a side rugby between Kent schools.  Over 74 players participated in excellent conditions.  John Fitzpatrick, KSRFU Girls Development Manager: "The standard of play was superb, with the quality of the tackling being particularly impressive.  The final fixture was between the two unbeaten sides, Dartford and St Olave’s.  A tough fixture ended in a 5 v 5 scoreline, with all of the girls involved joyous at the chance to take part in a competitive match.
